shutter speed affects the amount of light that is let in and the amount of time the shutter stays open this can make your picture good or bad there is no middle place. the shutter speed can be represented as a fraction or a hole number in seconds. the two settings on our cameras that allow for shutter speed manipulation are the S mode and the P mode. shutter speed is good to be able to control because, this allows you to take longer expos er pictures which can give you a diff rent look on your surroundings. the photos i uploaded are taken at different shutter speeds and you can see the difference in each of them.
